Kori
Sheldunov

Violinist.
Studying at the Yehudi Menuhin School, London.

Biography

Born in 2010 in Kharkiv, Ukraine, Kori Sheldunov began his musical journey early — taking up piano at the age of four and violin at five. He enrolled at the Kharkiv Specialized Music School in 2016, studying violin under Lyudmyla Varenyna.

He went on to study at the Kyiv Specialized Music School under Bogdana Pivnenko, before relocating to London in 2022 to join the prestigious Yehudi Menuhin School, where he studies under Akiko Ono.

Over ten years of playing, Kori has appeared as a soloist with numerous prestigious symphonic and chamber orchestras across Europe. His engagements have taken him to landmark occasions — among them performing at the opening of the National Philharmonic in Kharkiv before the President of Ukraine, and performing at the World Economic Forum in Davos, Switzerland, before the current President.

Kori is Konzertmeister of the Yehudi Menuhin School Orchestra, and has had the privilege of working alongside distinguished artists including the Sitkovetsky Trio.

Beyond performance, Kori is an active composer whose original works have been performed by symphonic orchestras and presented to international audiences.
